The danger of using Google images
Lots of our customers have been caught out by googling a picture for something they need and using it on websites, mailers or newsletters.
STOP !
Did you know similar to music – pictures also have royalties? Most pictures that you Google belong to someone else, so do not be caught out by using their property.
We were recently asked to produce an advert. The client sent us 15 lovely pictures to use – all from Google – none of which we could use.
We know of cases where clients have been contacted by owners of pictures used from Google images and invoiced £1000 upwards for miss-use of their pictures/illustrations etc.
